Program work is an ongoing process that includes variety of activities. Funds from the Program Campaign provide for the ongoing costs:

• horse care, grain, hay, supplements, bedding, veterinary and farrier
• ranch activities, pasture maintenance, mowing, seed and fertilizer, fencing and irrigation activities
• program promotion, marketing plans, Internet services, seminars and workshops, public relations activities, promotional travel, advertising
• salaries and wages for 13 faculty and 10 staff persons, benefits packages
• other costs of operation including utilities, insurance, administrative, legal and professional, postage and delivery, auto and machinery expenses, taxes and licenses

The timetable for construction of the new ADVANTAGE RANCH campus is three years. During this time important program activities will include:

• RESEARCH: develop surveys, collect data from current programs, establish a nationwide data bank, analyze data, conduct evaluability assessments for current programs
• TRAINING PROGRAM: complete training cirriculum, conduct limited training sessions, develop of Equine Interactive Counseling™ manual, establish links with college programs for internship, independent study, continuing education and other course credits
• TREATMENT PROGRAM for Children: conduct ongoing treatment activities, expand counseling opportunities, design recreational activities, develop program Handbook written at three age levels
• RESOURCES: produce video tape training series, initiate audio tape support series, offer ongoing consulting services, market prepared industry support materials including EVERY CHILD’S DREAM
• MEDIA: conduct seminars and workshops, continue public relations activities for major national print and communications media, publish ADVANTAGE RANCH TIMES and ADVANTAGE Resource Review quarterly, manage Internet site
