| "Nezi" is by Bit of Heaven, a 1987 palomino stallion with a blanket and roaning over the loin and hips. He won classes in Halter and ultimately was trained and competed in Western Pleasure. This well-built horse is a descendent of Bright Eyes Brother and Mighty Bright, both of whom had an influence on his stellar confirmation and movement. Of his 27 registered get, 6 earned 134.5 national points and 5 earned 83.5 Halter points. His get has also earned a Bronze Medallion and close to 200 points in youth events. Her dam, Tasha Special Tea, is a brown mare with a white blanket and spots across her back and hips. She is perhaps best known as the dam of the superior Appaloosa stallion, Mr. Cool Hand Luke, who earned close to 200 open points in Halter and Performance events as well as 3 Bronze Medallions and a 1 Silver Medallion. Of her other 14 registered foals, an additional 5 others earned Open ROMs in Halter and Performance events and one also earned a Bronze Medallion. | ||

"Nezi" is a beautiful deep golden palomino color with a perfect white blanket positioned across her loin and hips. She has an elegant neck, short back, and long legs that ideally suit her for hunter competition. Due to previous owners being more interested in breeding than showing, she spent much of her life as a broodmare, having produced 8 foals by the time she was 14. All 7 of her foals sired by Appaloosa stallions were loudly colored, 3 of which are pictured below. Two of her foals have earned points in performance classes and four have earned points in halter. Many have gone on to compete in hunter on the flat and over fences classes in shows outside of the Appaloosa circuit with great success. |

In 2011, the first Choose Your Spots participant selected "Nezi" for her custom made foal. Now in 2012 we have gotten to see what the pairing of "Nezi" and The Hunter has produced, and he was sure worth the wait. "Nick" is tall, beautiful, and loudly colored and we can't wait to see how he continues to grow. At this time, "Nezi" is reserved for the 2012 breeding season as another individual is excited to own her own "Nezi" baby. |
