Operating from his ranch in central Oklahoma, Mr. Blue Lanam provides the physical plant expertise for the ADVANTAGE RANCH team. Mr. Lanam’s experience with ranch facilities and range land management stretches over nearly five decades. Some would say that horses and cattle are his birthright. He was born and raised on a 50,000 acre cattle ranch in western Colorado and has first hand experience at making a ranch layout produce bankable results. Following completion of graduate school at Colorado State University, and service in the armed forces, Mr. Lanam began his successful career in the horse industry. In the four decades since he has produced over 90 World Champions in four breeds. He is widely regarded as one of the best agents in the country having sold over $30 million of horses. A popular clinician and lecturer at the college level, Mr. Lanam has assisted many individuals with aspects of improving the efficiency of their facilities and the economic status of their businesses. Each of these design projects resulted in multi-million dollar ranch and farm facilities. The last two projects are current and ongoing. Mr. Lanam’s physical plant designs emphasize cost containment in construction and minimize long run cost of operations through facility efficiency.
